Okay, so I decided to post my outfit for my rant to not come along as selfish. Is is just me or assuming my post for the promotion is taking decades? Yes, I'm not complaining or anything, or maybe I am. I mean a month after they announce to the whole world or office that you're getting promoted but you're still doing you're same old job, people start asking you questions. They start with, "Whatever happened to your promotion?", "Why are you still here?", "Diba VA ka na?". And I'm like, "I don't really know, I'm still waiting for the management's notification". I guess what I'm really trying to say is, if there is something unsettled within their level that regards my promotion, they should have settled it before alarming the whole world that I got promoted even before celebrating a year with their company. So I stop there.

And because I don't wan't to spend my hard-earned moolah to shop and binge on unhealthy food, I decided to dress up. Well not really dress up, but at least gather some energy to take an ugly photo of myself and couple it with my rant. So, photos!

When you don't have the zest to go to work because you're tried of people asking you the same irritating question everyday, this is what you wear so you can do a ninja move by just speeding your way out of the conversation.

Hello again, folks! I've been pretty busy for the past few weeks as to the explanation why I haven't updated my blog for quite sometime. Also, my new laptop Batman broke down. I transferred all my files from my old laptop to this new one that I bought some 3 months ago thinking it would last. I haven't even thought of doing a back up on my files, because, I dunno. Who would ever imagine that after 3 months of use it will break down? I certainly didn't.

Not wanting to delve more into details, let's talk about my promotion. So, not wanting to make people who helped me reach this position feel indispensable, I had to give each of them a small treat. That is even if I haven't had a taste of the sweet monetary value of the promotion, I just had to, starting with the boyfriend. After I found out about the news, I had to wear something light and fun so as to embody how I felt that day. Photos!

So, here goes! I decided to wear something pink so it'll be easy on the eyes. The top I got from American Blvd, the skirt was thrifted from Divisoria and the shoes which is not that visible in this slide, I got from Marks and Spencer. The photos from the series of mini treats for the people I love and adore will be on a separate blog, all together.

And that's about it. I haven't assumed the post yet, I will hopefully run the role come mid-December. A higher salary means more responsibilities, I'm keeping my hopes and my attitude up. Have a happy Sunday!

Hi. This is probably not a good time to surprise me or to invite me somewhere because I'm not in the mood. For the nth time, my laptop is broken again and they're blaming it to the motherboard after 3 fucking months of use. I mean, how could that happen? If its under warranty they always do a reformat but if its not they always blame it to the motherboard. I don't get it. If you must know, my laptop is more than a vital piece of gadget to me. Aside from it being a "personal" space I can explore anytime and also use to create another world on the web, I also consider it a part of myself. That's how dependent I am to it, and knowing that fact, I don't know why I always fail to back up my data.

Here's what happens every time I try to turn it on:

I have searched online for a possible cause of this problem and it seems like its a common issue for Asus EEE PCs. Darn it. Should've known better. Anyhoo, there's no hope for this laptop.

So there you go, 11months worth of photos, audio files, movies, word documents and presentations gone in an instant. I found a recovery tool from the web which costs roughly P2,500 but I don't think it's worth it. I'm still looking for geeks over the innernet who can help me save my files. Wish me luck, or it's going to be the start of the destruction of my social (networking) life.

So, basically yeah. That's how my Halloween went. Prior to that, we also had a party in the office which included trick or treat for the kids, and since I'm also a kid, I've got lotsa candies! We also had an event for bay decoration but I wasn't able to take photos because cameras were not allowed inside the office! Sucks I know. Bun and also had our own version of Halloween, we had dinner, that's it. Nothing kinky or scary. Heh. Photos!

I haven't introduced you to two of the people I spend most of my time with at work. Meet CG and Dan, the people that I love the most from work. In a non-sexual, non-romantic way, please. CG and I have had issues in the office, they thought we were a couple even if they knew that he had a girlfriend and I had a boyfriend. I don't get it, office affairs that is. I don't know why Dan and I never had an issue, but anyway, I'll be mentioning them a lot so I thought I'd introduce them first.

Last week, we were emailing each other at the star of the shift and something unusual occurred. I started the convo and was a bit alarmed because Dan was a all quite, not replying or anything. I though maybe he was just busy, but when I stood up to shout at him, he was not there! His things not there as well, I had to check our VL(Vacation Leave) folder only to find out that the bitch is on VL for 2 days! What the hell, that tin man didn't even tell us! CG and I thought this will be bad for our reputation because it's only the 2 of us for the next two days. After shift, I told CG I needed to be hooked up to the internet 'cause I need to dload my presentation. I was jokingly asking him to treat me for breakfast, knowing the tightwad that he is, I know he won't budge. But he did. What a MIRACLE. He told me that I'd be his investment if ever I get promoted. That explains it, user! But I thought, I may never get promoted so what the hell. Haha! We chose Yellow Cab for the WiFi only to find out its not working, we both can't connect, and that is after ordering the 3-cheese pizza for breakfast. Darn it.

What a relief to find out that there's free wifi around the area, it took me 2 hrs to dload 9mb worth of files.But anyway, the point of this blog is to make Dan envious for we didn't only spend 2 lonesome days without him, it was 3, for on the 3rd day, Dan supposedly got "sick". Whatever, Dan. Drool over  the photos!
