Our favorite, Pizza Volante. Bibi has his usual Grilled Pork and I had Shrimp and Tomato Pasta. For dessert, we had the coveted and sinful Choco Vanilla Affair, that gooey, fudgey consistency with Vanilla ice cream on top. Yummmmmm!

For me, a Baguio post always ends in Bokeh. A bokeh may not be the best representation of how beautiful Baguio is but it's the next best thing. Until next time, my city of blinding lights.

Since I got promoted, I had this feeling that I'm spending more than I should. I've been saving more money before I got promoted, which is weird because I'm supposed to save more, right? Anyhoo, I'm not here to talk about saving or anything, while I do have some (savings, that is.), I'm not really good at following my own tips.

So today is where I talk about one of my luxuries which is -- coffee. Yes, glorious coffee. I love going to Starbucks because their coffee is sweet, like it's specifically engineered for Filipinos. Not saying that all Filipinos like their coffee sweet, just in general. Also, their baristas are so friendly! I started appreciating them when they started spelling and pronouncing my name correctly!

A couple of weeks ago, the boyfriend invited me to come with him to Baguio so I can meet his parents. His parentals have been in the UK for quite sometime, I met his dad when we were still in college but not his Mom. I was quite nervous, with the television feeding us with thoughts that our lover's parents are supposed to disagree with everything and they're not suppose to like you by default.

Before entering their house, I have tried every delaying tactic so we can prolong the agony, but alas, we had to come in. Upon going inside the house, we were surprised that his Dad was on his way out and his Mom is out. Yesss! I think God heard me. We slept for we were too tired from the trip, when I woke up it was already time for dinner. This time, I can't delay the meeting anymore because we will be eating in one table. When we went to the table, his mom was smiling and said hi. She was friendly. Contrary to popular belief, she's not scary after all.

The weekend was a blast and his mom was kind beyond words. His dad on the other hand is a natural comedian, he also told me stories about Mountain Province and I was a giddy little girl all ears. I couldn't be more thankful for the weekend. I also met his extended family, I hope the photos justify how good the weekend was for me.

Whenever I get moved to support one account, I always get the chance to be there the same time they'll be celebrating their anniversaries. This happened around a month ago, I'm posting it just now because I sort of miss the people that I worked with. I'm supporting a different account now, but I still manage to find myself thinking about the what if's. I know this is bull, since we trainers always get moved, there's no place for attachment or whatnots but I can't do that, I just can't. Plus, the people from Amazon were really nice.

So, a month ago, Amazon celebrated it's first year anniversary at Flight Bar. We were approached by one of the managers and were asked if we can host the program. I've hosted some events before but not in a formal manner. The environment was just relaxed and all, so I was a bit scared upon accepting the invitation. But I thought, this is a party, so why not have fun, eh?

 Okay, let me tell you a story about this drink. I've loved Blowjob (the alcoholic drink) ever since I first had it, no pun intended. Before hosting, I wanted to be a little tipsy so the boyfran and I ordered Tequila and Blowjob. I was a bit shocked when they were serving it because they were putting one stack of glass over another. It was so high I got scared to drink it, what if my face get's burned? The usual Blowjob that I get is in a small shot glass with a tiny fire, but this one's shockingly awesome! People were cheering for me to just drink it and get it over with so I did and it was fun and it sizzles! hahaha!

Also at Flight Bar, they have this tradition of making someone drink in a sexual kind of way (or at least that's how I saw it) when the Captain blows the whistle. They're all dressed like Captains and Stewardess and once they come over to your location, you can't just decline the drink. It's vodka anyway.

I had fun! After a long time, I finally got drunk. I invited Lovey on purpose so he can actually take me home. *wink*

The past few weekends have been spent solely for the boyfriend and the boyfriend only. Our bonding would most like take 2-3 days, that's right after my shift ends (Saturday AM) and before my shift starts (Monday PM). We usually just watch TV and dick around with each other. Almost always, we dine outside because none of us want to take the initiative to cook anyway.

I think this was 2 weekends ago, we were at Trinoma trying to look for the perfect leather shoes and slacks for Bibi's new work, I had the P99 Pizza Hut infatuation back then so I imposed we eat at Pizza Hut.

How have you been guys doing? I had a hectic week because I'm back to the AM shift and this is gonna take me a month ( no night diff.)! But I guess it has it's perks as well 'cause I can go on dates and night-outs every single day! Yay!

So, updates! I left my SLR in Pampanga so I had to endure the 2MP resolution of my phone cam which is the only one I pretty much have right now. My Sony W-200 was borrowed by my sister for Bio stuff and documentations. Moving forward, let's get it on!

1. The Evolution of my Bruise

I don't really know why my bruise got this far. i just bumped my knee into the door while I was running away from the dog. Next thing I know, it's getting bigger and darker and more scary! Hep! Any tips on how I can make this fugly bruise go away? I can't wear skirts as of the moment. :(

I started to forget about going in a diet a couple of months ago. I don''t think it's worth it anyway. So I started eating the way I used to. 2 cups of rice for breakfast, the same for lunch and sometimes 2 cups for dinner as well if I'm really hungry. I think it has the same effect anyway. Hehe I'll just go back to jogging.

3. Growing Up

I've graduated from Baby powder, finally! Well, I decided to do so upon reading Len's blog. I read about Maybelline's clear, smooth, all in one shine free foundation and decided to try it. I read from the label it's specifically made for SE Asian type of skin so I thought this should work with my oily face. I started using it and it indeed made a difference. I don't know if it's the brand or the foundation in general but I like how my face looks with it. Also, I switched from using Nivea's Cherry gloss to Nivea's Fruity Shine in Pomegranate. It smells and almost feels like delish as well! But of course I dare not eat it. Haha!

4. Dinner Dates with Lovey

Yes, because I'm currently in the AM shift, I get to have lots of dinner dates with Bibi!

Since he works at Makati and I'm currently in Commonwealth, we had to meet halfway and that halfway means SM Megamall. Yeah, I know it seems unfair but I always arrive before he does, he blames the traffic. So during our monthsary, he picked me up to make up for it. How sweet. <3

5. Weekend date with Polly

Since 2 of my siblings are in Baguio, Polly and I usually spend our weekends together at home. This weekend I decided to bond with her and go shopping.

There you go! It was a pretty hectic but awesome week for me. being busy means being more productive or at least having something to do with your time.

I was on a very long and lazy weekend. I had a blog post composed, but I was too lazy to even click on publish post. All I did was cook, eat and sleep. Oh, plus cuddle and watch movies with the boyf. I wish for all long weekends to be like that. We didn't bother going to Baguio because of the rain, thanks Mina!                          

I won't regret spending the weekend at home, cuddling and schmooching with the boyf though. Priceless. Here's what I've been up to!

1. Tiny Tower

I miss how the weekends can just be easy like college weekends. Yes we did have exams, thesis and shit but unlike work, you can always skip it and reap the consequences. Weekends for me lately have been grueling, sleepless nights thinking how much work is waiting for me come Monday. I think I should learn how to separate work from my personal life, because I'm getting too indulged in it to the point where all I talk and rant about is work.

Now, stop. Breathe.

I wasn't suppose to talk about that. Let's try to take a detour. My previous weekend was pure fun. Kidnapped bunny after I had drinks with friends. We watched Role Models, Underworld : Evolution, The Corpse Bride and Grown Ups.


Each movie earned a respective blog post, but I'll do that next weekend since I have loads to finish and I have a deadline, this doesn't. Like my previous blogsposts thought, I'd die for more weekends like this with the boyf. <3 I was trying to post a .gif of the boyf and I together but I don't know how to do that in a blog post.

First one up is Kamayan sa Baguio, it got very popular among my college friends who frequent Baguio so Lovey and I decided to try it one, hungry afternoon.

I was browsing through Tumblr when I saw this lovely pair of open-toed pumps. I know there's a small chance it'll be available here in the Phils, but there' a bigger chance that there's totally something that looked like it. So, I was wooing bunny to buy me a pair as a post-anniversary gift. We celebrated our anniversary last December, too late I know, but still manageable as a gift, right? Hahaha!

Before everything went under control, I had to make tampo so I can convince him to buy me a pair and---

As my former LOB (line of business) started to face a lot of challenges, my promotion also was in the works so even if the LOB was in a critical situation, I had to leave. It was sad thinking I owe a lot to the LOB, I learned everything there. I would've wished to just be transferred to the same Account but God knows how my productivity and efficiency will be since a lot of people there know how to "help" newbies, if you know what I mean.

So apparently, our manager also had plans of moving on but I better not discuss that anymore. In lieu with that, we planned a team building,/going away/reunion party. That is too strengthen the team's bond given the kind of challenges they're faced with right now. This happened last week, the rest--its history!

I miss them, it's fine that I got re-assigned to a different site it's just that, not seeing them on a daily basis and not talking to them during break time feels weird.

I'm supposed to be blogging about the food strip at Maginhawa St. but since I wasn't able to take a lot of photos when we went there, I'll blog about the dinner instead.

Last Tuesday Paul, Len and I decided to have a food trip at Maginhawa St. We agreed upon things on Twitter and Boj decided to tag along as well. We were supposed to meet each other at around 6PM but everyone was a little late that time so I think we headed to Good Burgers at around 7PM. 

Anyway, Good burgers have a not-so-wide selection of burgers. You can choose to have the veggie or chicken patty and have your burger at good, better or best for the size. I had the BLT (Bacon, Lettuce, tomato) burger and had it at its best. The burger had a double patty and the bun was a pandesal. Or so I thought. For me it would've been perfect if not for the bun. It's so soft and gets sticky as you chew it that's why it got stuck between my teeth.
