I was awake the whole night. The boyfriend spent his time drinking with his buddies and I really can't drink so I had my own alone time as well, had a Lie To Me marathon and also waited for the closing ceremonies of the 2012 Olympics. I was looking forward to THE Spice Girls, and after several irrelevant performances, there they were!
I haven't indulged myself into shopping for a few months now for I was saving up for an air condition for my room in the province. Also, whenever I go into malls and I feel like spending, I would mostly buy appliances, furnitures and linens. Lol. I don't know, I feel old doing that but I also feel great especially when my Mom would approve of the things that I buy.
Anyhoo, while strolling and looking for trinkets I can buy for my room, I chanced upon this brand. The brand had a lot of cute and cheap flats! And that brand, ladies and gents, is Solemate!
Hey guys! How have you been doing? The boyfriend got into an accident yesterday, I had to skip work so I can take care of him. We were also staying at home when the accident happened so we can't really travel to the metro. His foot injury looks a bit okay now but he still needs some rest.
I acted as his nurse (no kinky sex though. lol) since the incident and he's usually asleep which gives me more time for the innernetz! Yay! Lol, no. I have to wake him up at certain hours for his meds. But yes, more time for the internet which led me to discover Sugarlips! I was browsing a friend's blog when I saw their ad and boy, they have awesome stuff! While taking care of the boyfriend, I also spent my time window shopping. Lol. Check out the things I loved from their site.

I love Ice Cream! Who doesn't? Especially for someone who lives in a tropical country where the weather is bipolar, you'd definitely love Ice Cream in the Philippines! On a weirdly unrelated matter, the Philippines has also been swarmed with Koreans who somehow bought their culture with them. Which brings me to something that combines both, Korean Ice Cream! Lol. I hope that made sense, err, one way or another.
Let me introduce you to this baby, Samanco! I first had a taste of this fish-shaped ice cream at Donday, at eat-all-you-can Korean restaurant. I loved the taste because aside from Vanilla Ice Cream, it also had red bean paste which is something I really love! (Thinking about Starbucks' Green Tea with Red Beans? I only eat the red beans because I hate tea. Lol.) I wouldn't want to go all the way to Malingap St. just to buy the fish-shaped ice cream so I felt kinda sad 'cause I only get to eat it when we go there for buffets--well, until I discovered Samanco at Mini Stop! Yay!
First off, I'm sorry dear blog if i have ignored you for some 3 weeks or so. The corporate world was trying to catch up on me and ate almost all if not all of my time. 3 weeks may seem like a short time but it was a rollercoaster of emotions for me. One day I'm happy, the next day I'm sad, tomorrow I don't know what I want. More on that later. For now, let me try to update my blog and myself on what was really up for the past 3 weeks.
Me, My Face and I. |
As I've been saying, my face literally has gone through a lot of changes for the past weeks. I'm starting to think I have this quarter-life crisis because honestly, it takes a lot of effort to make me smile nowadays. I only do so for the sake of it. Well. most of the time. As you can also see, most of my vain photos were taken in the bathroom because I'm too busy to even snap a photo of myself. Oh, life. You can be difficult at times.
This also has made me thinking that this line of where I'm in is not really where I'm supposed to be. I've started looking into other options and see if they can make me feel happy and fulfilled.
