I lost my mobile phone again. Well that was almost 3 weeks ago. This has been happening consistently for the past years since I moved to Manila. At one point or another, most probably a month before or after my birth month, I lose my phone. Well not necessarily lose it out of nowhere, it gets stolen.

So this year, when I though I'm done with that curse, I lost my phone while I was in the bus. I had all my birthday messages saved in there. The boyf's messages are also in there. My bosses' numbers are in there. Good thing I lost in on the way home to Pampanga, so my Mom allowed me to borrow her extra phone.

But anyway, that was me being stupid again knowing that the bus is not the safest place you can sleep and still expect your things to be intact right after. Oh well, another lesson learned. Fun fact btw, I've been in Baguio for 4.5 yrs and nothing like this happened to me. I had several phones including an iPhone, but even if I get drunk, when I wake up my things are always there. Amazing, huh?:)

So, being the impulsive biatch that I am, I decided I need a new AND expensive phone. I thought, why not buy myself a new phone plus a post birthday gift to myself so it justifies the purchase. Silly me got taken aback by too much adrenaline that I was buying the phone before I realized I should have kept my savings.

But the deal has been done and a purchase is a purchase. I'm trying to convince myself that my phone is enough and I should not be buying this adorable Flip Mino HD with the elephant design. I want it, not need it, because I'm preparing something for the boyf's birthday. But since I'm on a budget, I think I'll stick with my old Sony to complete this project.

Done ranting. Lemme show you my new baby and help me think of a name for this cutesy patootsie!

All That Meat And No Potatoes

I've started to morph into a fast-food monster. It's not enough that I live away from my parents, because of my laziness I've been eating ugh food for almost months now. I don't think I have the right to ask myself why I'm growing this big when I can't even finish a meal if it doesn't have rice, or maybe I can but with Uncle John's chicken.

Let me show you the food I'm eating and then brag about it some more even If I know it's no good. In return you can tell me how many years I've still got. K?

I Wish That Every Kiss Was Never-Ending

Since the boyfriend moved here in the Metro, it's not that difficult for us to see each other often. Unlike when we had a long-distance relationship, monthsaries and anniversaries are mostly spent over the phone or skype exchanging I love you's and tiny tears falling from our faces because of the lack of interpersonal communication.

Cheesy much, I know. But since he moved here, I learned to appreciate how couples who are within each others radar can be such a comfort. Quite honestly, long-distance relationships are hard to maintain. But anyway I'm so over that stage so let me just tell you how we spend time with each other during weekdays. We've had random dates and late celebrations about these events since we don't normally count unless I get mad or crazy about it one way or another. Some photos! I wish I had a gorillapod, working with a 50mm lens is difficult. It really is a poor man's lens.

Come Away With Me : Bosay Resort, Antipolo

When I was promoted as a Trainer, the job didn't actually come with a handbook so I pretty much didn't have any idea what what my gains and misses would be. Apparently, there are more cons than pros and sad to say I only realized that now. But anyway, let me just tell you about our team building during the summer. Everything happened at Bosay Resort in Antipolo.

Before everything else, the photo of the resort was was sent to us and while I looked at it, I said it was pretty okay just like Club Manila East. But to our surprise when we got there. Oh no. The place was crowded, there was unbearable noise coming from all over. Sigh..

Warm Summer Days Indoors

I don't see the point of late blog or album posts but since I have one right now that dates back to the Holy Week, It'll somehow have a point. Let's see, uhm, the photos perhaps? Yes, that's it! I'm photodumping here from my Holy Week 2011 album plus some words and captions to go with it. That way, it'll look like a late blog post with sense. Yay! Shut me up. Let me carry on.

Since my mom and dad approved of lovey going home to the province with me every now and then, his visits became a little bit too often so I'm on a down low right now. Gimme a month and we'll go back to the routine. Haha! So last Holy Week, he spent the long weekend over at our house, eating like there's no tomorrow, sleeping and just slacking around.
