I've been wanting to watch this movie for the longest time out of curiosity. But due to my laziness, I kept on procrastinating until it was no longer shown on cinemas. I had to make do with dload which is also a bit better because I can take screenshots.

In a nutshell, the film was set in an alternate world rules by Catholic priests. Not far from reality if you'd ask me. This alternate world had vampires and 'Priests" taking war into a whole 'nutha level. The 'Priests' were our main warriors against vampires, they didn't have to conduct mass nor confessions but had special skills instead. They also had crosses in their foreheads, not sure if it's tattooed or what because when they get sweaty it kinda fades.

I'm a fan of graphic novels but I didn't know Sucker Punch was one. I didn't get to read the novel before watching the movie, so my expectations weren't that high. I actually liked the movie. Before watching it though, I read quite a lot of negative reviews from hardcore fans that it doesn't justify the novel. SO, don't quote me on this since I wasn't able to read it. This is a pure observation of the movie with no relation to the novel. Is that even possible? Probably. Hihi

I decided to have a sub-category for the films I'm going to kind of review here but since all of them are just like summaries or in a nutshell sort of storytelling, I decided to name it Lazy Daisy! Hahahaha! It doesn't make sense but I like it 'cause it rhymes. Plus I don't want to put in a serious title like movie review because if it's in my blog, expect me to put in something personal to that post. And that's not how a movie review should be like. I think Lazy Daisy will work fine.

I liked this part of the movie so I'm keeping it as a cover. Heh.

So, I just watched The Corpse Bride almost a week ago. This is Tim Burton's brain child so I was expecting something not so creepy but of course unusual. I first had a glimpse of this movie on ETC but I was too sleepy to wait for it to finish because there were one too many commercials. I dloaded it the same night and watched it a week after.
