If I remember it correctly, I started joining a lot of contests mid-February as a part of the 22 things I want to do before I turn 22. The thing with me is that I join a lot of contests but I rarely win anything. I mean, just the fact that you'll be able to win something that you didn't pay for is just priceless, literally. So I joined this blogging contest from Jenni Epperson's blog, you just have to comment something relevant on one of her posts and she will pick 3 winners. And guess what?????

You all know I'm not really fond of make-up, if not for my cheek tint and lip gloss I would've looked like I just donated blood for someone. So Jennie picked 3 winners and i was lucky enough to be part of the three. I won an Avon gift package which had like 4 lipsticks and 2 eye shadow.



The package doesn't really much but I did appreciate it. I mean I didn't spend a dime commenting on that post of hers so I'm just really happy that finally I've won something! I gave everything to my Mom though and she gave the others she didn't like to my Aunts. Oh, and did I mention that she also paid for the shipping? Yay! You should follow her because she gives a lot of cool prizes and giveaways. The last time I checked she gave away a microwave oven or something. How generous!

Breakfast is one of the most substantial meal of the day. My dinner is technically breakfast. So I don't really know if I'll say I love dinner or breakfast. But basically, I want to say I love breakfasts!

We frequent eat-all-you-can restos because we are what you call stress eaters(?). We eat stress out. No kidding, we eat to eliminate stress, then purge it after. No, seriously. We just love to eat.

So Dan mentioned this placed called Bellissimo. It's an eat-all-you-can place along Examiner St, so we figured we'd go. While looking for Bellissimo, we saw a placed named Bellore so I asked Dan,

Me  :  Dan, Bellissimo ba o Bellore?
Dan :  Yun ata Bellore, imbento lang ako. May masabi lang.
Me  :  *curses* crazy bitch!

But there you go, it was Bellore. You can't imagine how hilarious and creative my friends are! The buffet was mostly composed of veggies but of delicious selections. I wans't able to take a photo because we arrived at 9:30 and eat all you can is only up until 10:00am so we had to hurry. I had beef steak, champorado, okra, talong, bagoong, salted egg with onions and tomatoes, spaghetti and I forgot the others.

We had a sumptuous meal and right after that had a quick photoshop tutorial session and we decided to have an impromptu photo shoot. It's like more of a going-away shoot. Huhu

I love Baguio. It shouldn't come as a surprise by now because I talk about it all the time and I try to compare everything with Baguio.This is one of those days where I consider going up there to look for a decent job that will allow me to stay forever. But for now, a list of things and reasons why you'd love Baguio.

1. Weather!

Who hates cold weather? I don't! I love cold weather, I can strut in shorts or jeans and just bring a jacket if ever it gets too cold. In college I used to wear shorts and flipflops in class. They're sooo comfortable it makes the environment a whole lot conducive for learning (echos!). I hate the kind of weather here in Manila because my face gets oily all the time.

I look awkward in this photo, maybe because I just woke up and I was hungry as hell. This was taken last January. The boyfriend and I makes it a point to visit Baguio at least once a month.

2. Food (Nomnom!)

When you write something down or blog about it whichever way is more comfortable, I do feel like the universe really conspire and make things happen. But well that is just my thought so far because things have been going pretty good. Ha, at last!

Anyway, after almost 2(?) grueling months, I'm finally assuming my position--for the promotion that is. You may have forgotten about that because I announced it to the whole world last November, but then again management had to iron out some things and poof! I now have the position.

In lieu with getting promoted, I also have to transfer to a different site, which I may say is farther than my previous location. I'm fine with it because the difference is just a short distance but the ambiance and the surrounding, I'm never going to get accustomed to. But I'm not gonna rant since that is where I'm needed anyway.

I had to have my last hoorah with my current account, so good thing we had this Valentine's day photo booth contest, of course I wasn't a part of the creative team, but I was sure a part of modelling group aka the ones who get the most number of photos taken at the booth.

I love to eat. Last Valentine's day I had the luxury to omit some food I shouldn't be eating because of my diet. And yes, I commit to my diet intermittently. Whenever I'm really stressed out or hungry, I forget about it. But when I'm all okay, schedule has been followed, I'm tight with it.

My sister Polly share the same attitude. Whenever she's stressed being a part of the student council, spear-heading the school paper, performing her role as the class president and staying on top as the first honor, she eats, a LOT. My Mom and I try to talk her out of binge eating because it'll not do her any good. But I guess she has to follow by example, and my Mom and I are not the best role models when it comes to that area.

So anyway, I just wanted to post my Sister and I's favorite dessert. Some weeks ago, I bought a box of Krispy Kremes as pasalubong to my sister and she managed to make them disappear in one sitting--half the box I mean. And she was so satisfied after that she managed to finish reviewing 6 subjects in 4hrs.

So i guess I'll let her be for the moment, and just remind her every now and then to take it slow sometimes.



My sister has a preference for the extra sweet ones, she doesn't like settling for Sugar glazed. And that leaves them to me, by my lonesome. Nomnom!
