10-minute Chicken Yakisoba

I'm finally finished with my Conquering Cebu series! Before I resume my travel posts, let me just squeeze one recipe into the queue so I don't forget that this is a food AND travel blog, lol. I've always wanted to make a video out of my recipes. But my kitchen has really bad lighting, and I don't have a camera man to-go. I don't know how my favorite recipes make it on Facebook! But hey, here's to trying!

So, I made this recipe during the birthday of my boyfriend's sister. The theme was all-out Japanese and we were tasked to make Chicken Yakisoba. I haven't been utilizing my kitchen for some time because the heat is draining me. It doesn't help that our kitchen is not air-conditioned. The only time I get to cook is when I'm at the boyfriend's place in Tagaytay since their kitchen is spacious, a lot of space to move around. Plus the cold Tagaytay breeze is comforting when you're cooking. Let's begin!

• Magnolia Chicken, cut into small strips
• Shrimp
• Yakisoba Noodles 
• Yakisoba Sauce (included in the pack)
• Onion
• Garlic
• Carrots
• Bell Pepper
• Cooking oil
• Mushroom
• Salt/Pepper to taste

1. Saute garlic then add Magnolia chicken cut into strips. 
2. Remove the garlic and chicken, then saute the shrimp until it turns light orange. 
3. Remove the shrimp from the pan. Saute your vegetables (onion, bell pepper, mushroom & carrots).
4. Remove the vegetables from the pan. Saute the noodles, then add the sauce. 
5. Add the chicken, shrimp and vegetables.

Et voila, easy peasy 10-minute Chicken Yakisoba! I don't know if you can call this a legit recipe since the sauce was pre-made, but I'm calling the shots here so I'm declaring it a legit recipe, lol! I'm already experimenting with several Yakisoba sauces that I can incorporate with the noodles next time I make this dish! The Yakisoba noodles were bought from S&R, in case you're wondering.

There you have it! I'm still trying to wing this video recipe thing. I love editing videos and I regret that I didn't start sooner. The only problem I'm having right now is that my laptop doesn't seem to  be optimized for video editing. And while my processor is i7, my Lenovo is built for business not for graphics and stuff, huhu. Editing seems laggy at times, which is why it's difficult to sync the video to the music. Oh, well. I initially wanted a camera for my birthday, but seems like that has to wait. UGH! In the meantime, enjoy this short video recipe I made for you guys! Happy weekend, folks!
