Eighteen Wheels And A Dozen Roses

Have you ever tried to visit Baguio on a February? I suggest you don't if you're a bit claustrophobic. But if you really want to see the Annual Float Parade and is fine with crowded places, then go ahead. I wouldn't stop you because Baguio is just too lovely even with the influx of people during February, or summer for that matter.

But I guess when you do love the place it doesn't matter if it's crowded or not. Exactly what happened to me some weeks ago when I went to Baguio and i didn't realize it was also the Float parade so I had a hard time securing seats for me and the boyfriend. The traffic was also heavy upon arrival but it's manageable. We had to stop by UP so that I can deliver my sister's doughnut's. They've been requesting Krispy Kremes for the longest time.

The whole Saturday was basically rest day for us since we didn't want to go out, it was too crowded. The morning after though, look what we had!

Perfect dip!

We had breakfast at Good Taste. It's a good thing we the crowd wasn't there yet when we had breakfast or we'll be fighting over seats. Lechon rice and Good taste rice are the best with soy sauce, calamansi and chili! Nomnom!

Bun and I had coffee after that and just basically spent the hole afternoon chillaxing and eating!

had coffee at Saint Cafe where they always run out of caramel

I also spent my weekend looking for thrift finds, and true enough Baguio didn't disappoint me! I'll have a different post for that though because I bought tons of clothes.

The market was crowded! (hilltop)

We were also able to witness Session in Bloom once again! This is my favorite part of the Panagbenga festival, eating in Session then walking around to see crafts and what have you. Aah, I miss Baguio again!

funky rings

colorful bracelets

Espadrilles!

Session was oozing with color that day! And Panagbenga wouldn't be considered a Flower festival for nothing. Tadah!

I was only able to take a photo with SM's float because I didn't bother standing in the middle of Session just to watch the parade. It was too hot, and I know I'll have more of these.

Til' next year, Panagbenga!
