Have you ever tried to visit Baguio on a February? I suggest you don't if you're a bit claustrophobic. But if you really want to see the Annual Float Parade and is fine with crowded places, then go ahead. I wouldn't stop you because Baguio is just too lovely even with the influx of people during February, or summer for that matter.

But I guess when you do love the place it doesn't matter if it's crowded or not. Exactly what happened to me some weeks ago when I went to Baguio and i didn't realize it was also the Float parade so I had a hard time securing seats for me and the boyfriend. The traffic was also heavy upon arrival but it's manageable. We had to stop by UP so that I can deliver my sister's doughnut's. They've been requesting Krispy Kremes for the longest time.

The whole Saturday was basically rest day for us since we didn't want to go out, it was too crowded. The morning after though, look what we had!

If I remember it correctly, I started joining a lot of contests mid-February as a part of the 22 things I want to do before I turn 22. The thing with me is that I join a lot of contests but I rarely win anything. I mean, just the fact that you'll be able to win something that you didn't pay for is just priceless, literally. So I joined this blogging contest from Jenni Epperson's blog, you just have to comment something relevant on one of her posts and she will pick 3 winners. And guess what?????

You all know I'm not really fond of make-up, if not for my cheek tint and lip gloss I would've looked like I just donated blood for someone. So Jennie picked 3 winners and i was lucky enough to be part of the three. I won an Avon gift package which had like 4 lipsticks and 2 eye shadow.



The package doesn't really much but I did appreciate it. I mean I didn't spend a dime commenting on that post of hers so I'm just really happy that finally I've won something! I gave everything to my Mom though and she gave the others she didn't like to my Aunts. Oh, and did I mention that she also paid for the shipping? Yay! You should follow her because she gives a lot of cool prizes and giveaways. The last time I checked she gave away a microwave oven or something. How generous!

Breakfast is one of the most substantial meal of the day. My dinner is technically breakfast. So I don't really know if I'll say I love dinner or breakfast. But basically, I want to say I love breakfasts!

We frequent eat-all-you-can restos because we are what you call stress eaters(?). We eat stress out. No kidding, we eat to eliminate stress, then purge it after. No, seriously. We just love to eat.

So Dan mentioned this placed called Bellissimo. It's an eat-all-you-can place along Examiner St, so we figured we'd go. While looking for Bellissimo, we saw a placed named Bellore so I asked Dan,

Me  :  Dan, Bellissimo ba o Bellore?
Dan :  Yun ata Bellore, imbento lang ako. May masabi lang.
Me  :  *curses* crazy bitch!

But there you go, it was Bellore. You can't imagine how hilarious and creative my friends are! The buffet was mostly composed of veggies but of delicious selections. I wans't able to take a photo because we arrived at 9:30 and eat all you can is only up until 10:00am so we had to hurry. I had beef steak, champorado, okra, talong, bagoong, salted egg with onions and tomatoes, spaghetti and I forgot the others.

We had a sumptuous meal and right after that had a quick photoshop tutorial session and we decided to have an impromptu photo shoot. It's like more of a going-away shoot. Huhu

I love Baguio. It shouldn't come as a surprise by now because I talk about it all the time and I try to compare everything with Baguio.This is one of those days where I consider going up there to look for a decent job that will allow me to stay forever. But for now, a list of things and reasons why you'd love Baguio.

Who hates cold weather? I don't! I love cold weather, I can strut in shorts or jeans and just bring a jacket if ever it gets too cold. In college I used to wear shorts and flipflops in class. They're sooo comfortable it makes the environment a whole lot conducive for learning (echos!). I hate the kind of weather here in Manila because my face gets oily all the time.

I look awkward in this photo, maybe because I just woke up and I was hungry as hell. This was taken last January. The boyfriend and I makes it a point to visit Baguio at least once a month.
