Work has been pretty possessive lately, my apologies for the lack of content in my little online space. I have a lot of photos queued but I haven't really found the time to make a story out of them, and yes, recipes included. I decided to create a new category on my blog, which will contain bits and pieces of Instagram photos, just so I get to update this blog's content as often as I can. I have to admit, I use my phone more than my camera for photos. It's also easier to edit and transfer photos from my phone than my camera, too. Ultimately, the point is, I want to post more about the things that are happening to me. I like reading my own blog, and it's extremely therapeutic going down memory lane whenever I read a post. Hopefully, my mobile photos aren't too bad. Moving on...

I just got back from an extended vacation in Palawan! I want to post all of my photos but I haven't edited/collated them yet. I'll share them with you soon as I can. For now, I'll show you some of the snapshots I took with my phone during the trip. Can I just say I have a wonderful boss with such a kind heart? I've been with the company for over a month, which is still a part of my probationary period, but I was allowed to go on vacation leave for 6 days! Am I lucky or what?? I haven't felt more secure and happy with my job until now. I may not have as much friends as I did back in my old company, but I believe I'm gradually getting acquainted with the relevant people in my new one.

Our favorite, Pizza Volante. Bibi has his usual Grilled Pork and I had Shrimp and Tomato Pasta. For dessert, we had the coveted and sinful Choco Vanilla Affair, that gooey, fudgey consistency with Vanilla ice cream on top. Yummmmmm!

For me, a Baguio post always ends in Bokeh. A bokeh may not be the best representation of how beautiful Baguio is but it's the next best thing. Until next time, my city of blinding lights.

This set was taken at Zola, when I was in college, it was just a simple resto where we can eat and have coffee and pancakes in the morning. It looks more of a bar than a resto now, especially with the smoke rounding the place but it's bigger and it has a balcony! The boyf loves this set because he said he looks thin. Lol Does he?

Can you guess what this things right here is? It's an aquarium at the boyf's place. I took a photo because it looks like the galaxy or milky way or some astronomical shit we see when we look up the sky at night. It's so pretty!

On a yummier note, when in Baguio, never forget to have coffee! Competition here for coffee is pretty stiff because it's nice to have it wherever because of the weather! Now, the defining factor is the taste and the price, of course. In Volante, you can get 2 refills of brewed coffee for P29, beat that! Well, we're not counting the ones you can buy on the street for P10. Meh.

See, in Baguio, everything looks nice. All of my problems seem to go away when I'm there, that's why I like love it there. Until next time, lover.

Where is your comfort zone? Tell me about it!

Travelling is one of the things that make me happy and it doesn't actually come for free. If you're street smart, you can get it for a cheaper price but nevertheless still have to pay for it. It doesn't help that I wasn't well-traveled when I was younger because there were 4 kids in the family and it would be unfair to just have one kid go on a vacation. Because of that, I had to make up for the times I wasn't able to travel hence the lengthy list of "Places I have to go to before [Insert year here]".

This is where we stayed. It's Isla Vista Beach Resort, it was a pretty place and our room was spacious. It's also 10mins away from Potipot Island and they take care of the boat transfers too for a reasonable price.

After frolicking on the beach for an hour and the pool for the same amount of time, we tidied up so we can have dinner and drinks after. The only thing I didn't like about Isla Vista was the waiting time everytime we ordered food. If it wasn't enough that their serving is not what we expected, they'll make sure your intestines are trying to devour each other before they serve your order. I didn't join my friends for the happy hour for I was too sleepy and tired because of the trip.

This was taken the morning after. We had breakfast and the people who drank too much had to take some time to remove alcohol from their system before we can ride the boat. Look at the sparkling water!

The Island was very peaceful and serene. It had a lot of big-ass rocks though, but the water was so blue and clean. Once you get to the Island, you will be asked to pay the entrance of P100. I don't know what it was for, we just paid because we were too excited to jump into the water.

I was collecting sea shells while I was on the shore but returned them after taking a photo. Lookie at the penis-shaped shell, lol. Potipot was fun even if the travel time took longer than the time we frolicked on the beach and had fun like we're kids.

I'm not sure if this post is still appropriate since strong winds and harsh rains are devouring the city. I think the beach will always be an appropriate topic whether it's summer or not. I love the beach.
