Do't Forget My Lipstick I Left It In Your Ashtray

When I was in College, my makeup staples were baby powder (I know, not even pressed powder!) and my good 'ol trusty Nivea Lip Balm and/or my Born Lippy Lip Balm. This set hasn't changed a lot, I still use baby power (you must be laughing right now.), lip gloss, cheek tint and lipstick! I evolved, you see. I now welcome color into my face with the addition of cheek tint and lip stains to my daily beauty must-haves.

I must say since my evolution was a bit late, I've just been enjoying the seemingly endless world of colors. I am true and loyal to just 1 brand of cheek tint but my lipstick collection is a combination of cheap and expensive stuff that have impressed me over time.

A current favorite is Avon's Ultra Moisture Rich Rose Lipstick in Carmen Rose. And no, I won't be be reviewing the product, there are already a lot of reviews out there. Plus, I have fugly lips sooo..

..this is more of a Carmen Rose appreciation post. Lol.

Got The Color Of Evil And Blood

I'm not fond of lipsticks. I bought my first lipstick a year ago and it was from Bench. I loved the color, it was dark and smelled a bit of chocolate and champagne. I rarely use it, though. I'd rather stick to my Nivea lip balm, it gives my lips the some sort of color anyway. Some of my friends keep telling me that I should start wearing one, at the same time put some tint aka make-up on my face. It was kind of awkward at first, but you know, I'm getting there. Hahaha But, it's still awkward.

Earlier this year, I won a package from Ms. Jenni Epperson, it included eyeshadow, lipstick and all sorts of fun colors you can put in your face. I'm not that adventurous when it comes to make-up so I just got one lipstick that I think I'll prolly use in the future and gave the rest of the stuff to my mom.

Too Bad It Belonged To Me

If I remember it correctly, I started joining a lot of contests mid-February as a part of the 22 things I want to do before I turn 22. The thing with me is that I join a lot of contests but I rarely win anything. I mean, just the fact that you'll be able to win something that you didn't pay for is just priceless, literally. So I joined this blogging contest from Jenni Epperson's blog, you just have to comment something relevant on one of her posts and she will pick 3 winners. And guess what?????

You all know I'm not really fond of make-up, if not for my cheek tint and lip gloss I would've looked like I just donated blood for someone. So Jennie picked 3 winners and i was lucky enough to be part of the three. I won an Avon gift package which had like 4 lipsticks and 2 eye shadow.

The package doesn't really much but I did appreciate it. I mean I didn't spend a dime commenting on that post of hers so I'm just really happy that finally I've won something! I gave everything to my Mom though and she gave the others she didn't like to my Aunts. Oh, and did I mention that she also paid for the shipping? Yay! You should follow her because she gives a lot of cool prizes and giveaways. The last time I checked she gave away a microwave oven or something. How generous!
