I was on a very long and lazy weekend. I had a blog post composed, but I was too lazy to even click on publish post. All I did was cook, eat and sleep. Oh, plus cuddle and watch movies with the boyf. I wish for all long weekends to be like that. We didn't bother going to Baguio because of the rain, thanks Mina!                          

I won't regret spending the weekend at home, cuddling and schmooching with the boyf though. Priceless. Here's what I've been up to!

1. Tiny Tower

I liked this part of the movie so I'm keeping it as a cover. Heh.

So, I just watched The Corpse Bride almost a week ago. This is Tim Burton's brain child so I was expecting something not so creepy but of course unusual. I first had a glimpse of this movie on ETC but I was too sleepy to wait for it to finish because there were one too many commercials. I dloaded it the same night and watched it a week after.

I miss how the weekends can just be easy like college weekends. Yes we did have exams, thesis and shit but unlike work, you can always skip it and reap the consequences. Weekends for me lately have been grueling, sleepless nights thinking how much work is waiting for me come Monday. I think I should learn how to separate work from my personal life, because I'm getting too indulged in it to the point where all I talk and rant about is work.

Now, stop. Breathe.

I wasn't suppose to talk about that. Let's try to take a detour. My previous weekend was pure fun. Kidnapped bunny after I had drinks with friends. We watched Role Models, Underworld : Evolution, The Corpse Bride and Grown Ups.


Each movie earned a respective blog post, but I'll do that next weekend since I have loads to finish and I have a deadline, this doesn't. Like my previous blogsposts thought, I'd die for more weekends like this with the boyf. <3 I was trying to post a .gif of the boyf and I together but I don't know how to do that in a blog post.

My weekend was a bit lazy, aside from the fact that I didn't have anything planned because I was supposed to host a party which got cancelled 2 days before the event, I honestly had no weekend plans laid out. I had to do an impromptu, so Saturday we suddenly decided to visit a long-we-thought-she-was-lost friend. We had drinks over at her place, then I kidnapped Bunny!

Went home to Pampanga on a cold and rainy Saturday night, I was so drunk and wasted when I woke up I was almost home. I was exhausted and I wanted to retreat in my bed but mom asked us to wash the dishes because the house help was on her rest day. Bah, hambug! Asked bibi to do it for me, though. Hihi!

I tried to make it up in the morning by cooking brekky for him. He was supposed to work while I distract him, 'cause I didn't bring work stuff with me at home. But then again he decided to just spend time cuddling with me, how schweet. <3 And, we watched a couple of movies while munching on chips and puffing smokes in between.

It was a good weekend, I hope we can have more of those after i move in to a different house in the metro. I hate having to live on buses, spending most of my time travelling than actually living life.

Yuck, yet again I feel inspired but I strongly feel that this post exudes my gayness. Lulz.My period must be on its way. Haha!

Well, not really. Upon being promoted, I thought I was going to hate GA for that would mean we may have to weigh what we were able to do for the company. At least that's what I thought. But then again my department has ways of making us feel grace under pressure, and that is in the form of fun GAs! Yay to that.

I was pretty ecstatic some weeks ago for we were informed that we're moving into a bigger and better office come July which would be Hanston Square in Ortigas! Of course I was all prepped up, I constantly texted people who worked around the area that I may be seeing them more often once we move.

A week before June ended, a striking news blew me up. I was to be transferred to UP-A Technohub again. Well, I know for a fact that a part of our job description requires us to get moved from one site to another, and I should have been aware of that, but then again I got too attached.

Knowing that the decision is final, I tried to accept everything with an open mind, and yeah, hopefully good things will happen! :)

Can I just say I know that I'm not the only person who feels like a total idiot when it comes to Apple products. I know when you get used to it, it's pretty much easy to navigate, sync your files and purchase apps from the app store. But my dilemma is having to transfer apps and whatnots without the help of iTunes.

You might be wondering why. Well, the thing is, I bought my phone pre-loved from the innernetz. It came with a lot of useful apps and games, so upon acquiring it, never did I think of wiping the things in it including the apps. The problem occurred to me when I wanted to dload some free apps from the app store. I went in and the previous owner was the one who's still logged in. Thinking that I can just get away with it by changing the info from the app store to my own account, yes it did allow me to do so but it will not take effect until you sync it with an itunes where the same account is logged in. Okay fine, did that and turns out if I sync it, everything will be lost because according to the all knowing app store, my phone can only be synced to one iTunes at a time. FUQDATSHIT!

Imagine my dismay when I read that small popup. I had to look for was, ninja ways to be specific on how I can transfer files to my phone. It's either I totally erase everything and start with a new phone all over, or go ninja with the help of Cydia, Installous and the awesome Diskaid.

Well Cydia and Installous are pretty self-explanatory, you can dload paid apps from them. But diskaid is what I needed to transfer stuff that I have dloaded from the app store to installous so I can just install them upon transfer. Another way of doing that is thorugh SSH, which is a more complicated procedure so I decided to stick with diskaid because I'm lazy like that and all you need to do is drag and drop things.

Diskaid is very user-friendly and efficient as well, the downside though is that I'm only using a trial version and I'd have to pay for it in the future if I want to continue using the software. Another thing is that sometimes when I install the apps I dloaded from the app store, they close abruptly and the app will start working after a month or so upon installation.

So I'm wondering, is anybody here having the same problem? Or please give me any advise if I should just wipe everything out and start over with my phone. :(
